Your questions about neuropsychology

What is a neuropsychological assessment?

A neuropsychological assessment looks at how a child learns, thinks, and feels. It is evidence-based and tailored to each child’s unique profile, and it translates complex information into clear, practical guidance for home, school, and the community.

Who is it for?

Children and families who want to understand how a child learns, thinks, and feels. We focus on assessment and diagnosis for:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Specific Learning Disorders
  • Twice-Exceptionality (2e)
  • School Readiness
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Intellectual Ability
Who will assess my child?

Every assessment is conducted by Dr Chelvi Ganesalingam, a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 20 years of experience in child development, hospital-based multidisciplinary care, and university-level training.

What can we expect from the process?

A thoughtful, thorough, and science-informed process that is compassionate and tailored to your child. You receive practical insights that support your child’s wellbeing at home, at school, and in the community.
